Shatadhauta ghrta’ in Sanskrit translates to ‘ghee that has been washed a hundred times.Shatadhauta ghrta is ghee that has been repeatedly washed with aqeous extract of Ksheerivriksha – Nyagrodha (Ficus bengalensis), Udumbara (Ficus glomerata), Aswattha (Ficus religiosa), Plakhsa (Ficus lecor), to obtain a soft buttery product.
